The Cuteness Factor keeps growing...and growing!

Here are the pics you've all been bugging me for...Lilah is now 6 months old! We had her dedicated at church about three weeks ago or so. Here's a pic of my parents with us after the dedication.

She is such a sweet, smiley little thing. Love this little chubbo!!

Yup....she's our little Chubbatina....she's already 19 lbs. and in the 96th percentile for weight. All thanks to mama! Don'tcha just wanna eat her!??

Seaworld!! We got in for $6 which made it even MORE exciting! This is Judah and his best bud, Micah! They had a BALL!

So, my parents moved to Bradenton, Florida this past week. Jared and his dad drove the moving truck cross-country for them (and for the adventure). Here's a pic of my parents' new digs...they're right on a lake stocked with all kinds of fish (my dad is in heaven!).

This is the view from their kitchen window...
Jared caught a decent sized talapia!
This is the beach that's about 8 miles from my parents... Siesta Island/Beach just got voted the second best beach in the U.S.! Florida here we come! We're heading there to visit the parents in June and to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Can't wait! We'll post more pics of the trip when we get back.
My hottie husband on the pier! Love that guy!!

Lilah at 4 Months

I know...I know. I have been such a slacker with posting pics of the newest addition, so here you go (Amber!). ;) Trust me, blogging ain't so easy with two kids. "They" never tell you how hard it is to have TWO kids, because "they" want more grandkids! Ha ha!! Lilah is doing great! And Judah loves being a big brother. He's very protective of her, when he's not trying to squeeze her to death. Very cute! Definitely loving the fact that we're getting past the newborn stage and now on to the cute stage - she just started laughing this past week and she's trying to sit up by herself, roll over, grab things - the whole bit! We are very blessed! God is so good! Will try to be more diligent about posting!! Love to you all!

Judah's 3rd Birthday Party!

Hard to believe my boy is already 3!! Just a few pics from the day! This first one is a pic of Judah's cousins - Kai and Claire. So cute! The bald guy is not Jared - it's Jared's oldest brother, Danny, Kai's dad. Amazing how much they look alike! I'll post more pics later.

Trailer Trash

Well I just drove 2 hours to the high desert to pick up a 1957 Westerner travel trailer. It's pretty cool and still mostly in original condition. Here are the before pics, so that after we restore it and paint it, we can look back. The trailer is in great condition for being over 50 years old. It still has all the hardware and original components. Luckily the wheels and bearings were just redone so it made a nice 2 hour drive back home. So, it's official, the Beck's are trailer trash!

The Beginning of a New Era

Well, looks like we're starting over from square one with another one! :) Lilah is doing great. So far she is an angel...very easy baby. Mom is the one that is having to deal with her own attitude issues since she's operating on little more than 3-4 hours of sleep per night. ARRRGGGHHHH! But, I have to keep reminding myself that, as my mom says - "This too shall pass!" and this time will be over before we know it and then she'll be 18! ;) I can't believe that Judah is almost 3 already! The time really has flown and will fly with this one too. I'm not great with the infant stage...I much prefer the toddler stage, but am trying to enjoy every moment...even the ones at 2 am when Lilah thinks it's 2 pm. :) Here are some pics for ya....

Jared and Judah went up to Palomar Mountain where they had 16 inches of snow!! Judah's first time seeing snow! Very exciting! They went sled-riding and had a great time! Check out the scenery! So beautiful! Who knew we'd have a white Christmas in San Diego! Very cool!

Baby Lilah is Here!!

So, Lilah evidently is planning on keeping us on our toes! ;) She came about two weeks early from her due date of Dec. 7th and one week early from her scheduled "arrival" of December 2nd. I went into labor on Saturday the 22nd, although I really didn't think it was labor and put off going into the hospital until 5 pm on Sunday thinking I would only be in there for observation and then we'd be sent home. Little did I know I was 5-6 cm dilated already! CRAZY! So, they performed the surgery and here she is! She was born at 7:46 pm on November 23rd and weighed in at 7 lbs even and 19 3/4 inches long.

She was born breech so that is why her legs are straight out instead of in the fetal position. So cute!

A very proud daddy!

A very sedated mommy!

And a very happy brother who was elated that his little sister presented him with a gift upon her arrival - Salty the Train (from Thomas the Train collection for those toddler amateurs out there - ha ha!)

And here she is in all her wide-eyed splendor! ;)

We will post more pics later! Love to you all!

6 More Weeks and Counting...

Hello All!
Six more weeks til we get to meet Lilah! We are all very excited!

While we've been waiting, we've been up to some fun stuff with the fam...wanted to post some pics. Tis the season for Pumpkin Patch Pictures! Seems like everyone is posting them on their blogs, so didn't want to cheat anyone out of the Beck Family Pumpkin Patch Pics...here ya go! We went up to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center...now an annual family tradition. Love that place!

The family shot with my mom and dad...

Here's the belly shot everyone has been asking for - 8 months here.

And here are Judah and Gatsby...attempting to abscond in the van. Although Gatsby does have the teeth of a trucker, not sure he could actually drive the thing.

Now we have to show off Jared's skills as an artist/sculptor. He's got quite a way with play-doh! And Judah is very stoked on his dad's abilities. What you see before you are exact replicas of Lightning McQueen, The King and Thomas the Train. For those of you out there that are parents of young children, you totally understand the significance of these characters as replicated in play-doh. Check out the look of sheer adoration on Judah's face for his father's abilities! Very cool!

Will keep you posted on all things baby whether you like it or not! ;) Can't wait to be the only person residing in my body! ;)
Love you guys!
